My Year of Darwin 10/20/2014: Incipient species

 Charles Darwin

"Varieties are species in the process of formation, or are, as I have called them, incipient species." Charles Darwin, Origin of Species 1st edition (on Kindle)

I think I must have covered this in one of his letters. The more I read Origins, the more I realize he rehashed his ideas that appeared in his letters. It's nice to see a scientist work this way and throw ideas off of colleagues.
