Tree Swallow Update: BABIES!!
The campus Tree Swallows set up a nest a few weeks ago and I've been checking it about once a week since. This afternoon I opened up the box and she wouldn't leave the box - a sure sign something is going on.
There were babies. She wouldn't get off them and I didn't want to bother her too much but I could see the back end of one. I'll probably wait another week and a half and I'll band them.
