This deserves a much more thorough reporting but the numbers of Chikungunya and Dengue fever cases in the Americas is just mind-boggling at this point.
In Venezuela, there were a combined 100,000 cases of these two arboviruses. The vectors (mosquitoes) are here and a population of juicy immunologically naive humans awaits.
